Lesser Viewed Spiritual Perspectives on Consciousness Creation

Very loosely referencing ancient homonculi work from old manuscripts of which I will never try to directly quote minus a few pictures here or there, the concept of the homonculi is probably a bizzare and strange concept by today’s standards. In attempts for modern interpretation, there are several aspects of this line of thought that coincide with current technological and spiritual practices.A quick overview of loose historical comparisons.

During the height of medieval alchemy, there was the concept of the homonculi, where as an alchemist could create a mini-person in a jar. That is the basic concept. But when you mix in the other concepts such as the four stages of the great work of alchemy: Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas, Rubedo, you can also interpret the homonculi as the rebirth of man. Or the rebirth of his soul.

The engravings depicting the homunculus  are straight forward and so are the instructions that are usually paired with it. From the recommended link below it did seem pretty gruesome a task to even attempt, requiring parts from all sorts of animals, fermented in beakers or other animals. Pretty disgusting. But when ‘conceived’ on an interdimensional lattice, the instructions take on an entirely new modern meaning.

Future and Modern Homonculi-like Alchemy.

The homunculi practices of back then may even be compared to the old Sumerian legends of Enki and the story of how ‘smaller beings’ were created. It might even be the case that humanity may be trying to emulate their own gods within these concepts into modern religion and other edifices and use that framework for modern day practices such as test tube babies, and future A.I. technology, along with “Ghost in the Shell” conceptions of awareness. The homonculi concept can turn into a neverending Russian nesting doll paradigm as one being begets another smaller being of a significantly twice removed state of consciousness. Perhaps not even needing to create artificial or modified beings but simply removing the effects of directed will upon conscious living, one can emulate this at their own level through the perpetuation of listless offspring that will mimic those neural codices into the next millennium.

Perspectives on Current Propagation Another comparison is the human ability to bear children. Or so it would seem that way. But the womb can be likened to a beaker where a body is formed. It is most certain that the animating principle of a newborn is entirely a separate issue that adheres to the new-formed body. In that way, human’s are in a way, creating their own homonculi with an inability to create  both animating and physical principles at once the spirit or soul, but rather borrow one from the aether, or in other schools of thought, entrap an animating soul fractal within the vessel they have constructed through willful desire. Even replicating the process through which the light of Sophia was stolen to animate the human species, for those that are familiar with that knowledge.

Jungian and Magickal Practices

There is a large amount of information regarding the “budding off of consciousness” in Jungian terms which I will not go into detail, because I am not well versed in textbook definitions or their interpretations. There is also the practice of servitor creation through a popular method of sigil creation through a form of Chaos Magick which you can read at the links below. With regards to the homonculiac attributes, these are again similar through a more psychological viewpoint as both are highly interpretive methods of creation of limited directed consciousness into a singular thoughtform in Chaos Magick, or simplistic subconscious personalities with Jung in mind. The difference being is that one effects the current vessel of one’s body while the other may affect the body in addition to the space outside of one’s self.
